Be part of the team at Dyrham Park

2015 is an exciting year for us at Dyrham Park and we're expanding our team like never before. We now have a range of volunteer roles available, including rooftop guides.

If you feel that you've got something to offer which is not covered by these vacancies, please contact our Volunteer co-ordinator Bob Vaughan Jones on 0117 937 1334 or email him here.

Volunteer on the roof

Are you a fan of heights and good with people? If so, we've got a unique role for you. As part of our major conservation project we've created a scaffold walkway which people can use and we're looking for helpers for this.

Volunteer in the house

With brand new areas and exhibitions in the house plus 7-day opening, we're always on the look out for house volunteers. If you have an interest in history and like talking to people, this is the role for you.

Volunteer in the park

We look after 270 acres of parkland here at Dyrham Park. This involves caring for trees and dry stone walls as well as wildlife, including our herd of fallow deer. If you enjoy being outdoors, this is the role for you.

Volunteer in the shop

Our National Trust shop is a treasure trove of cards, gifts and edible treats and sees tens of thousands of visitors perusing the shelves every year. We've got a great team of retail volunteers but are always keen to hear from more.

Volunteer in the tea-room

What National Trust visit would be complete without some tea and cake? Our tea-room gets very busy at times and we'd love to hear from anyone interested in helping out with serving, clearing tables and working in the kitchen.

Volunteer in the office

Things at Dyrham Park would not run as smoothly as they do if it wasn't for all the behind-the-scenes work in the office. We have people giving up some time to help us in this task. If you're computer literate and want to stay inside, this is the role for you.
