Half term week and Halloween

Sat 24 & Sun 31 Oct

As well as the usual array of child friendly activities, we're putting on some more events over half term week - including a self-guided children's Halloween trail across the park. Come and join us for some spooky fun!

Toddler trails

Every Tue

Taking place at 10.45am every Tuesday, these popular weekly sessions attract little feet from across the area and include singing, stories and crafts and are free of charge. Normal admission applies.

Meet the Expert

30 Oct & 27 Nov

As part of the Collections store tours, there will be a monthly chance to meet a conservation expert - covering books, paintings, ceramics, textiles and furniture - these free talks are interesting and educational.

Tree planting

Nov - Mar

Every year as part of our park management plan, we plant new trees. During the winter months we offer commemorative tree planting, where people can plant a tree for a loved one, to mark a special occasion or just because. You can help pick your tree and location and come in for the planting. One off cost of £130.

Deer feeding

Dec - Mar

Over the winter months, when food is scarce, our rangers give the deer a helping hand with daily feeding sessions and we invite you to join us on these. You'll head out into the park in a vehicle with our ranger, before the park opens to the public, and help with this important task. £10 adults, £5 children. Booking essential.
