We're a wide ranging group of people who enjoy going out into the Essex countryside.

Founded more than 15 years ago, we do a variety of work including:

  •     coppicing
  •     scrub clearance
  •     fencing
  •     minor building works
  •     painting
  •     pond clearing
  •     beer festivals

We also have social events including:

  •     walks
  •     meals
  •     casino nights
  •     cinema

We work at Danbury Common, Copt Hall, Northey Island and Blakes Wood, and at times we will have weekends away - Brancaster in Norfolk being popular.

Membership is only £5 a year for which you get a regular newsletter and information.

Just bring along work clothes, suitable footwear and some lunch, stay for as little or as long as you like.

We are always keen to welcome new faces and would like to tell you more about our group.
