Latest news about our cottages and campsites in the Lakes

Great news - our lakeside cottages on the west shore of Windermere have re-opened to our first guests following the December floods.

We are very happy to announce  that our lovely cosy cottages High and Low Strawberry Gardens are back in action.

We have welcomed our first customers since Storm Desmond hit in early December when both cottages were left under approximately 2 feet of water. With completely new kitchens and furnishings in the lounge, they are looking beautifully fresh and welcoming. Please come and see for yourselves -  we have availability in February and March and the Lake District is definitely open for business.

With Wray Castle and newly opened Claife Viewing Station nearby, not to mention ample walking and bike routes from the door, High and Low Strawberry Gardens are a fantastic peaceful base from which to enjoy all the Lake District has to offer.
