There is a huge variety of things to do both on the campsite and in the local area, much of which you can do without having to take your car.

Stay local

Make a splash in Lake Windermere

The campsite has direct access to the lakeshore where you can launch a canoe or other non-powered craft, explore the lakeside beach and go for a paddle or a dip.

Orienteering course

There is a fixed orienteering course onsite. You can buy a map from reception (£1.50).

Children's activity packs

Packs are available at reception, with suggested campsite-based activities for young children.

Bat detecting

Bat detector kits are available to hire at any time for £5 from the campsite reception for customers staying on the campsite.

Bird hide

Watch our feathered friends from our specially constructed viewing platform, right next to campsite reception.
