Planning your visit

Our guided sessions are free for Education Group Members of the National Trust and are tailored to your year group and learning objectives. All activities are fully risk-assessed and are delivered by experienced and well-qualified staff and volunteers with DBS clearance.

Educational sessions are available on Thursdays and Fridays during the Hall’s opening season and are suitable for groups of up to 60 students. All sessions must be booked in advance with the Learning Team. Activities in the Hall take place in the morning. There is accommodation for picnic lunches in the Orangery and a choice of optional outdoor activities in the afternoon.

Education Group Membership (EGM) entitles the school to free entry toNational Trust properties. Find out more about EGM. Guided sessions are free to EGM schools.

Risk assessment and insurance

Visiting groups should have public liability insurance. We can help with your risk assessment process. Please read and return the Insurance and Risk Assessment guidance documents prior to your visit.
