Florence Court's second-hand bookshop

A selection of classic novels in our second-hand bookshop
Find a classic in our second-hand bookshop National Trust / Rosa Denison

Nelly Wooly’s second-hand bookshop helps to raise money for ongoing conservation projects all around Florence Court. Thanks to our dedicated team of volunteers and generous donations from our visitors and the local community, the bookshop is full of fantastic titles in every genre you could imagine.

There's a wide range of books to suit everyone, pick up a novel to enjoy in the sun, get inspired by a travel guide, find new recipes in our cookery section, and take home some new bedtime stories for the kids.
The bookshop is managed by our volunteers and is open during our normal open times. There's usually a smiling face to welcome you in, and at times when there's nobody available to volunteer in the bookshop you are still more than welcome to browse, and we ask that you leave a donation for your purchases in the honesty box.

Making a donation

We’re always so grateful for all the donations given to Nelly Wooly’s bookshop, their sale directly helps with the upkeep of Florence Court. If you'd like to make a donation please phone us on 028 6634 8249, or you’re welcome to call into the bookshop when we’re open.
