We want to preserve the peace of this area, and by buying the land, we can ensure that visitors, locals and the wildlife that thrives on the estate can continue to enjoy it for years to come.

A place of myths

According to Welsh legend, an epic battle between a red dragon and a white dragon (symbolising Saxon and Celtic cultures) took place at Dinas Emrys, one of the hills overlooking the lake.

    The lake is home to otters - and if you look carefully you may see their tracks near the water.
