As executor, you are responsible for carrying out the wishes of a Will. This is a big responsibility but you’re not alone – if a gift to the National Trust is included in the Will, our Legacy Administration team can assist you in your role and help you through the administration process.

If you’re the executor for an estate with a gift to the National Trust, just let us know as soon as possible. Our registered charity number is 205846 and registered address is National Trust, Heelis, Kemble Drive, Swindon SN2 2NA. You can email us legacies@nationaltrust.org.uk, call us on 01793 817699 or write to us at this address.

All legacy correspondence should be sent to Legacies, National Trust, Heelis, Kemble Drive, Swindon SN2 2NA. We will reply to the accompanying correspondence and arrange allocation of legacy gifts. All cheques should be made payable to the National Trust.
