One of the three valleys making up the garden at Glendurgan

A steep valley garden

The natural beauty of Glendurgan is due to the three steep valleys forming the landscape leading down to the Helford River. As a result the garden is not accessible for wheelchair users except for the information area, as there are steep slopes, many steps, loose gravel, uneven and narrow paths on undulating terrain.

Visitors are welcome to wait in Durgan Village at the bottom of the garden whilst one of their group returns to the main car park and drives down to collect them.

Ask our team at the garden entrance for more advice on enjoying your day in the best possible way at Glendurgan.
