Facilities & access


  • The Piggery, our visitor reception serves refreshments, sandwiches and homemade cakes
  • Locally produced gifts, postcards and walking booklets are available to purchase at visitor reception
  • Godolphin estate has over 6 miles of footpaths. Views from Godolphin Hill over the north and south coasts of Cornwall
  • Dogs on leads are welcome to all outside areas
  • Picnic blankets are available to borrow for picnics in the orchard
  • The King's Room is open daily with a volunteer room guide
  • Godolphin House is a holiday cottage, and open to visitors on selected dates throughout the year

Family & children

  • Baby changing facilities are available at visitor reception
  • The family trail is free and encourages children to explore the garden and grounds
  • The permanent barefoot trail and outdoor mud pie kitchen allow children to tick off some of the 50 things to do before you're 11 3/4


  • Free parking is available at Godolphin, Noonvares and Great Work. Godolphin is suitable for coaches
  • There is a mobility car park, with access to the house and garden via an unevenly surfaced lane
  • There is limited access for wheelchairs due to some difficult slopes and cobbled surfaces
  • Passengers who are unable to navigate the uneven lanes are welcome to use our drop-off point outside the visitor reception building
  • Godolphin estate has a wheelchair-accessible path near the River Hayle
