  • Half lake cruise

    Half lake cruises (45 minutes) - These cruises depart daily from Coniston pier at regular times with the option to break your journey at Brantwood House or Monk Coniston returning on a later sailing. Alternatively, just hop on for the round trip cruise and enjoy this stunning unique steam powered craft. All cruises include commentary from our friendly crew.

  • Full lake cruise

    Full lake themed cruises (105 minutes) - Enjoy an extended sailing and really soak up the atmosphere of this unique yacht. Hear all about Coniston's famous connections on one of our specifically themed commentaries - Bluebird cruise, Explorer cruise, Wild Cat Island cruise, General / Walkers' cruise.

  • Engineer for the day experience - Autumn offer

    The ultimate Gondola ticket. A behind the scenes, hands-on, full day experience as engineer on Steam Yacht Gondola. You can join in as much as you like with all aspects of crewing the boat including feeding the firebox and running the steam engine, mooring the boat and loading passengers, and even trying your hand at helming.

  • Picnic cruise for two

    Tuck into a delicious Bluebird Cafe picnic hamper whilst sailing on one of our full lake cruises (departs Coniston pier on Mon, Thu, Sun at 2:30pm, or on Sat at 11am).

  • Afternoon tea cruise for two

    Spend a lazy afternoon on a full lake cruise enjoying a fabulous afternoon cream tea lovingly made by the famous Bluebird Cafe.

  • Saturday walkers' cruise #1 - Parkamoor

    Catch the Saturday 11am full lake cruise and disembark at Parkamoor jetty.

    The 7.5km walk will take you up above the eastern shoreline of Coniston Water along to Brantwood where you can visit the house, gardens, gallery or cafe before rejoining Gondola on the return leg to Coniston pier.

  • Saturday walkers' cruise #2 - Lake Bank

    Take the Saturday 11am full lake cruise from Coniston pier and disembark at Lake Bank jetty.

    A 12km walk takes you across varied terrain up to Beacon Tarn and then down to the lake where your route traces the shoreline all the way back to your start point.

  • Ruskin experience

    This is a joint ticket for a combined cruise and entry to Brantwood, former home of John Ruskin.

    Pick up your cruise at Coniston pier for the short journey across the lake to Brantwood jetty. There's lots to see at Brantwood, including the house, gardens gallery and Jumping Jenny's cafe, before returning to Coniston on Gondola via Monk Coniston.
