Make the most of your day with a Ruskin Experience ticket.

Visit the home of artist and conservation pioneer John Ruskin in style. Book an 11am or 12 noon sailing (not Saturdays) and sail to Ruskin's former home, Brantwood, in an enviable spot above Coniston water.  Your combined ticket includes entry to Brantwood's house and gardens (not managed by the National Trust) where you can learn more about Ruskin's vision.

Your ticket includes your return sailing from Brantwood to Coniston in the afternoon which is not booked to enable you to spend as long as you like at this stunning location.

Brantwood House and John Ruskin

Brantwood is both a treasure house of historical importance and a lively centre of contemporary arts. Displays and activities in the house, gardens and estate reflect the wealth of cultural associations linked to Ruskin's legacy from the Pre-Raphaelites, Arts and Crafts Movement to the founding of the National Trust and the welfare state.

On site at Brantwood, you will also find Jumping Jenny's licensed cafe and a wonderful art and craft shop and gallery. Enough to fill your whole day.

£18 - tickets only available online.

Please note: only adult tickets are available for the Ruskin Experience - entry for children at Brantwood is free therefore you only need to purchase the Gondola half-lake cruise ticket for children.
