The guided tour times in the handbook do not apply during this time, but there will be tours when possible, on an ad-hoc basis, working around the filming schedule. We apologise for the disruption but hope you will still come and enjoy the gardens.
Charming 15th-century manor house with Arts and Crafts garden
This beautiful medieval manor sits in peaceful countryside.Cross the upper moat, passing barns, gatehouse and delightful parish church to enjoy fine oriel windows and the soldiers, griffons and monkey adorning the rooftops.
Romantic gardens offer terraces, topiary houses, gazebo, lily pond, roses and views across the spring-fed fishpond.
You are welcome to visit the Parish Church when you visit (not National Trust), donations are welcome.

Your visit during April
We kindly ask you to bear with us while the filming crew is in the manor house.
Limited guided tours will be available on an ad-hoc basis, working around the film timetable. Please look out for information and signs on site during your visit.
Disruption in the garden will be kept to a minimum, so you can enjoy our spring flowers.
Complete your day out with a visit to the nearby Courts Garden in Holt. This is a relaxed walk through the Wiltshire countryside.
Reward yourself with a cup of tea at the Rose Garden tea-room in The Courts Garden, or at the Glove Factory Studios en route.
