Families, friends, groups, schools and even dogs are welcome

Housesteads Visitor Centre has plenty on offer to help make your day special. We love inviting families, friends, groups and even your four-legged friends and there are seating areas where you can enjoy a cuppa and a snack.

For the shop-aholics there's cards and books, to teatowels, garden kit and plants. There's even egg cups, mugs and of course - Roman memorabilia.

Thank you

Every metre of Hadrian's Wall costs £100 to conserve and every penny you spend in the shop and café helps us to do things like that and mantain this special place.

Without your support we simply wouldn't be able to do it. Thank you.
