The 17th century gardens are currently being restored to their former glory. With different formal gardens, relax in an environment filled with plants from the time of the Duchess of Lauderdale.

Once a bustling, productive estate, we have a number of 17th-century outbuildings that you can visit all year round. See the original Still House where the Duchess made medicines for her family and servants. The very extravagant Ice House or the dairy with its cattle-themed furniture.

Upstairs, downstairs - experience the unseen parts of Ham House through the eyes of the servants and glimpse how the house is used today on this 45-minute tour.
