How can you help?
Volunteering your time is one of the most rewarding ways to donate. Here at Hanbury Hall and Gardens we enjoy the support of over 200 volunteers who help to care and maintain this beautiful house and garden. Providing a warm and friendly welcome to over 120,000 visitors a year, the donation of their time is not only gratefully received but crucial to our preservation.
You're never more than 40 minutes away from a great day out with the National Trust. By becoming a member your fee can continue our work to preserve places and spaces for ever, for everyone. If you join on your next visit to Hanbury Hall an extra bit of money comes directly to us to help maintain the Hall and Gardens.
Each year the National Trust runs a property raffle with prizes including £10,000 cash and a stay in a National Trust holiday cottage. When you buy a ticket at a property the money goes directly to that property to help with conservation work. All the proceeds from tickets sold at Hanbury Hall this year will go towards repairing the glass in the Orangery windows - vital for keeping it warm enough to grow citrus fruits.
This year we have opened a second hand bookshop in the summer house in the stable yard. All the money raised goes towards the upkeep of Hanbury Hall and Gardens. We always need donations so why not have a clear out and bring some books along on your next visit? All books in a readable condition will be gratefully received.
