Eating and drinking in our Servants' Hall tea-room

Look out for our Servants' Hall tea-room at the back of the house. Enjoy lovely views of our beautiful parterre whilst enjoying a cuppa and a natter, or tuck into a tasty lunch. Don't forget to follow our servants rules!

Do you love local as much as we do? Our fantastic team of gardeners work very hard to provide the catering team with fruit, vegetables and salad from our gardens to be used in delicious quiches, salads, ice cream, jams and cakes.

We are also able to cater for different dietary requirements. Please let us know if you have an allergy and we will do our best to produce food that is suitable for you.

Cakes and bakes

Choose from a wide selection of cakes, biscuits and scones baked here at Hanbury - perfect as a late morning or afternoon tea treat. Autumn of course means apples, so watch out for lots of cakes using seasonal ingredients. Need some inspiration? Try our cider cake recipe below. Yummy!

Delicious meals

Leek and potato soup

We have a delicious range of hot and cold lunches. In Autumn look out for seasonal soups and quiches, as well as tasty salads and warming one-pots. Hot lunches are served every day from 12 noon until 2.30pm.

Produce growing the formal vegetable garden at Hanbury Hall

At Hanbury we're really proud to say that home-grown, organic, seasonal produce from the walled garden is supplied to our servants' hall tea-room, when the harvest permits. Ask our staff what's come from the gardens for you to enjoy.
