Talks and tours

Discover more about the history of the family and the estate from our expert volunteers. Taster tours run from 11am - 1pm (tickets are limited). You can join garden tours most afternoons.

You can picnic anywhere in the gardens, so pack up your favourite foods, borrow a rug and settle down to an al fresco lunch.

Test your skills in a game of bowls, croquet or quoits. We don't mind if you stick to the rules or not.

Summer is a great time to get out and about and we have a full calendar of events. Open air theatre, the Flower Feast and family activities.

Get outdoors


You can have a walk in the parkland, stroll through the gardens and get the kids letting off steam in the playground.

Group visits

Groups are welcome to visit Hanbury. Please contact us for booking forms and to check availability. For groups of 15 and over, a discounted ticket price is available for non-National Trust members.

Stay longer

Enjoy the unique experience of staying in one of three holiday lodgings, two of which are in the house and one which sits in the grounds.
