Charming woodland and walled garden

This tranquil woodland garden, especially spectacular in early summer, includes more than 70 varieties of rhododendrons, plus azaleas, hollies and hostas. At its heart is a delightful walled area with a pergola and wire sculptures.

The surrounding farmland has an attractive permitted path to nearby Alderley Edge.

Come rain or shine

Visit Alderley Edge

Alderley Edge is only a couple of miles from Hare Hill, and yet it offers you something totally different.

The woodland walks are lovely at this time of year and on a clear day the views over the Cheshire Plain are great.

There really are hares

Visitors are always looking out for hares when they visit, but these shy creatures are not often to be found.

However, there's a good chance you'll see some next time. They're carved from wood but they're fun to find.
