We’re excited to announce that a new children’s nature trail featuring the collectible toy brand Sylvanian Families, is now open at Hatchlands. Free to all visitors this nature trail focuses inspiring children to explore the outdoors.

Wizard Wix’s Willow Warren has proved hugely popular with children and parents, now we want to make it even better. We’re going to add a tree house to the adventure area, find out more about how you can help us to reach our goal.

Family food

Pick up a lion of a lunchbox from our café

Enjoy hot or cold children's food including lunchboxes and ice creams. Highchairs are available and we're always happy to heat up baby food. If you'd like to bring your own food we've got lots of picnic spots, or feel free to throw a rug down on the lawn.

Summer

There's lots to enjoy outdoors here this summer. There are beautiful blooms like poppies and peonies in the NGS quiet garden and you'll find lots of tiny hidden treasures including orchids in the wildflower meadow.

Garden games

Enjoy a selection of larger-than-life games. We've got chunky chess, giant jenga and super-sized snakes & ladders. You can find those and more in our marquee. Look on the lawn in summer or just ask a member of staff.

Family membership

To help keep costs down you can sign up for a family membership and enjoy free admission to over 300 houses, gardens and stunning areas of coastline and countryside. You can join on the day or email us to find out more.
