See a new angle on Lake Windermere

Relax and enjoy this quiet side of the lake

Arrive by boat from Ambleside or Bowness and enjoy a great walk on the Claife or Wray Castle estates. This is the quieter side of Lake Windermere, with shorter, flatter walks or opt for an elevated viewpoint.

Easily accessed without the car and ideally suited to outdoor activities.
