Walks leaflet for sale

With six circular walks, and a wealth of information on the history, wildlife, and archaeology of the area, the new walks leaflet is a great souvenir, as well as a useful guide. The leaflet can be purchased from our shops for £2, or if you would like to buy before you visit please email us to order a copy.

BBQs for use

With 2 BBQ's free to use, the Heddon Valley is a great place to picnic © National Trust / Julian Gurney

You can find two oil-drum barbecues in the riverside car park for your use. Just turn up with your food, light one up and sit back and enjoy this stunning Exmoor valley. Come along and try one out. They are free to use. We also have our own charcoal available to buy from the shop.

Explore the stunning path to Woody Bay for great views

Countryside Mobility is a scheme which enables easy access to the South West’s beauty spots and is available here in the Heddon Valley. Tramper all-terrain mobility scooters are available to hire for people with limited mobility. For a small fee and after a short training session, you can explore agreed Tramper routes and visit other participating sites across the South West.
