Perhaps you saw us paddling on BBC’s Countryfile programme or maybe you booked one of our canoe adventures last year? This spring, why not discover these diverse waterways yourself by following our new canoe estuary trail.

Leaving from Salcombe, you can spend the morning or a whole day paddling the route to Kingsbridge. Stop to explore the Iverna racing yacht wreck or the remains of Salcombe Castle. With wildlife habitats on the mudflats and wonderful sea grass beds visible in the blue waters, the trail has something for everyone.

‘This is the perfect way to help you explore the area’s fantastic history and marine life - it's no wonder the area has been designated a site of special scientific interest as well as a local nature reserve’, said Ranger, Simon Hill.

‘We hope that you will get to see the 500 acres of land that the National Trust cares for in the area in a completely new light’.
