How to get here

By train

Access to The Homewood is via minibus from Claremont Landscape Garden only. The entrance is approximately 2 miles from Esher station, and easily reached using the 515 bus route. The station has a regular train service every half an hour direct from London Waterloo, and also stops at locations such as Surbiton, Portsmouth and Southampton. By road

Access to The Homewood is via minibus from Claremont Landscape Garden only. Claremont is on the east side of the A307 Portsmouth Road. The entrance is within easy reach of both the A3 and M25; follow the brown tourist board signs for Claremont Landscape Garden once you exit. Parking: Free parking is available close to the entrance kiosk at Claremont Landscape Garden. Please be aware you may need to allow extra time to find a parking space on busy days, especially during school holidays. If needed you can also make use of the free council car park in nearby West End Lane.

By bus

Access to The Homewood is via minibus from Claremont Landscape Garden only. The Abellio Surrey 515 bus route drops off and picks up directly outside Claremont's front gate. The service runs approximately once an hour during the day Monday to Saturday, then the 515A operates with the same frequency on Sundays. This convenient bus route takes in a large portion of the local area including Kingston, Surbiton, Guildford, Cobham, Thames Ditton and Esher station.

By cycle

Access to The Homewood is via minibus from Claremont Landscape Garden only. Claremont is on the east side of the A307 Portsmouth Road. Bicycle storage racks are available next to the toilet block in the lower car park, close to The Homewood bus stop. A cycle lock can be borrowed from the kiosk in exchange for a refundable £20 deposit if needed. Tyre levers, pumps and a repair kit are also available.
