Assistance dogs are welcome in the house and gardens, but unfortunately other dogs cannot come in with you. If you do bring your four-legged friend with you, please remember your entry ticket is valid for the day, leaving you free to enter and exit to check they're happy.

Your dog is also welcome to join you for your drinks or meal on the patio of the restaurant, where a drinking bowl is available.

Dreaming of walks in the countryside

Ightham Mote estate is a popular place for dog walkers. There are plenty of good walks to enjoy - and you can pop into the restaurant afterwards - dogs welcome on the covered patio (dog treats available).

Toby (pictured) used to live on the estate with our General manager and loved to run in the estate woodlands.

See our Estate page to download a copy of our estate walks leaflet - or pop into our main visitor reception for copies of the walks maps.

Thirsty work

If you get thirsty we have dog bowls outside visitor reception and the lower gate.

You are also welcome to bring your well behaved owner onto the Mote Restaurant patio to join you for refreshments.
