Explore the estate and find your favourite view across the Kent countryside (the shop has some supplies you may have forgotten). After your walk, why not grab a snack from the Mote Café and enjoy a picnic on the deckchairs at the north end of the garden, before visiting the house and enjoying our tours and talks.

There is something for everyone in our exciting programme of events including children's activities, music, theatre & craft workshops. Details on our events page or click below for our events listing.

Family fun

There's plenty to keep the family occupied here with house trails, the garden explorer map, activities in the Discovery Den and our natural play area. We also run events during the year.

Stepping out exploring the countryside

Extend your visit by taking a stroll on one of our three waymarked walks around the estate. Alternatively, if you prefer a longer walk, follow one of our downloadable walks.
