We are open each weekend at the moment from 10.30am - 3pm and then daily (except Fridays) from 7 - 22 February during half term. After this, we reopen for the new season from Saturday 7 March on a daily basis (except Fridays) from 10.30am - 5pm.

Lunches and teas
Enjoy freshly-prepared local and seasonal produce in the Great Kitchen restaurant at Kedleston, where you’ll find a variety of delicious homemade treats, and tempting meals.
Located in the former 18th-century kitchens, the restaurant retains all the original features which have been carefully combined with contemporary furnishings. Drawing inspiration from the contents of the hall, the restaurant offers a comfortable and cosy space to relax and unwind and is a perfect location to meet friends, celebrate a special occasion, or simply treat yourself as part of your day out.
Treat your loved one to a scrumptious dinner with sparkling wine in the Great Kitchen Restaurant on Valentine's night before going on a romantic candlelit tour of the house.

- Tomato soup drizzled with basil oil and served with rustic bread.
- Baked chicken breast filled with fresh herbs & wrapped in pancetta, served with a creamy wild mushroom sauce.

All the milk used at Kedleston comes from just down the road at Duffield dairy.
All of our bread is made in Derby by local baker Marcers.
