Killerton is an ideal setting for groups. Be welcomed with a five-minute introduction and explore the spectacular hillside garden, the elegant 18th-century house and the costume collection as well as the beautiful parkland and countryside.
We recommend that you allow at least two hours for your visit.
A cosy café with home-made cakes and a fresh pot of coffee or tea completes your visit. This self-service café is next to the car park and has hot and cold snacks available as well as indoor and outdoor seating.
Killerton Kitchen restaurant
The Killerton Kitchen restaurant provides fresh made-to-order lunches showcasing local, seasonal and estate produce. This stylish setting also has a terrace overlooking the garden.
Open all year round, our shop is right next to the car park in the stable block. It has a full range of National Trust goods and local produce including Killerton’s own cider, chutney, flour and charcoal.
Next to the shop is the plant centre, with a wide variety of plants, gardening equipment and garden furniture. The centre features many plants grown in peat-free compost.
The secondhand bookshop, run by volunteers, is stocked with a wide range of books on subjects from aeroplanes to antiques, gardening to paperback blockbusters.
