Schools

There is a great choice of learning experiences and activities for schools. Our learning team welcomes reception and key stages one and two. The award winning sessions are designed to develop creativity, problem solving, group and independent work.

Families

Learn as a family as you explore the countryside with trails and maps. Discover the history of the house and enjoy family events throughout the year. 

Forest schools

Discover your wild side at one of the forest explorer days

Farms

See new life at Killerton

There are 18 farms on the Killerton Estate to explore. Martinsfield, one of our organic farms, is now offering school visits. Contact Julie Bateman to find out more on 07778 993375.

Volunteering

Take part and join in Killerton’s story. Learn new skills, meet new people and discover the rich past and the wide variety on the whole estate. 

Work experience

Gain valuable experience in looking after an historical building and running a big estate. See the goings on and understand what happens behind the scenes.

PGCE workshops

 If you’re training to become a teacher, why not join our award winning education team for PGCE workshops. Gain great experience and learn new ways of engaging with children outside the classroom.
