Tractor trailer rides

Take a tour in our specially adapted trailer to explore the Kingston Lacy garden and estate - ideal for wheelchair users, people with mobility difficulties and carers.

£4 per person (carers free). Booking essential on 01202 883402 (line 8).

For groups of 6-14 persons (including carers) additional dates may be available.

Running routes

1-mile route

This run is half a mile along the famous Beech Avenue and back.

2-mile route

This run goes along the famous Beech Avenue, past the medieval Lodge Farm and climbs up to High Wood where there is a good view across to Kingston Lacy. Return past the ancient Iron Age hill fort down to Heron Drove to the car park.

3-mile route

A fascinating run that takes you along part of the famous Beech Avenue, round Badbury Rings Iron Age hill fort, past High Wood and The Oaks with its ancient trees.

Activate Coast and Countryside Health Cycle Rides

Why not pop along to one of our weekly cycle rides run in partnership with Moors Valley Country Park.

These free, volunteer-led rides are a great chance to explore the local area and make new friends. Suitable for over 16s, it’s the perfect opportunity for you to get back on your bike if you haven’t cycled for a while.

Every Thursday 9.30-10.30am

  • Cost: free, refreshments extra
  • Bike hire: £4 booking essential, please phone: 01425 470721 (free with own bike)

Please note that booking is essential for the Kingston Lacy National Trust rides.
