The Beech Avenue and Droves

This 3.8 mile walk is perfect for this time of year. Follow the red way-markers and enjoy the changing autumn colours whilst exploring the many droves which criss-cross through the estate.

Top tip: remember your wellies for those puddles after rain.

Kingston Lacy guided estate walks

Come and join us on our guided walks of Kingston Lacy's beautiful estate. Explore over 8,500 acres and find out about the history and wildlife of the estate.

From Bronze Age burial mounds to Medieval hunting lodges, an Iron Age hillfort, a Roman crossroads and an even greater variety of wildlife, wild flowers, orchids and ancient trees - these walks have something for everyone. All are offered at a gentle pace so you can take in the delights of the area.

There is no charge, but donations are always welcome.
