A warm welcome

Welcome to Knightshayes

Welcome to Knightshayes

Knightshayes is the perfect destination for groups. Having received your personalised welcome, discover 30 acres of formal and woodland gardens, along with a fully productive kitchen garden and a fascinating Gothic Revival mansion. In order to prevent over-crowding, we recommend that large groups split into two, one to explore the garden and the other to look around the house. We recommend you allow at least three hours to explore the delights of Knightshayes.
To find more information about visiting Knightshayes with a group, see our information pack which includes details of our Café options for groups.

Guided tours

Discover the secrets of our walled garden with a guided tour from our garden team. Learn how we restored the garden to full working order, growing a wide range of organic produce.

The tour  is £100 for a group of 25 people. We also offer a free, 15 minute, introductory talk for both the walled and ornamental gardens.

Take advantage of our friendly buggy service

We have a designated parking area, close to reception, for coaches and the disabled. Large print, braille and foreign language guides can be found at reception for both the house and gardens. There is also a regular buggy service, transporting people to different areas of the estate.

Tuck into a delicious treat at the Knightshayes stables restaurant

Visit our award-winning Stables Café, supplied with fresh organic produce from the kitchen garden. Hot and cold lunches are served between 11.45am and 2.15pm. Home-made soups and sandwiches are available from 11am to 5pm (subject to availability). Vegetarian options are also included. More information about group food options is provided in the downloadable group visit information pack above.
