Volunteering at Lindisfarne
We are always looking for new volunteers to join us at Lindisfarne.
If you are interested in coming along to help out in this unique place then drop us an email or just call in.
Working holidays
We welcome 16 pairs of working holiday volunteers every year. Working closely with the staff and regular volunteers, they have the advantage of being island based - so no worrying about tides.
Volunteer room guides
We are always looking for volunteer room guides to help out when the Castle is open. You really do get to know the place and help visitors to enjoy and understand the Castle story. Please email us if you are interested.
More opportunities
We are developing more volunteer roles at Lindisfarne. In the near future these should include roles in visitor services, collections, and walking tours with more potential in the pipeline. Email us for more information.
