Heathland is an important habitat for a variety of species.

Our Retail Supervisor Lesley loves the BBQ charcoal we now have in stock. Made from birch trees cleared from the National Trust’s Thurstaston Common in the Wirral to conserve open heathlands, this charcoal results from the hard work of our rangers and volunteers from Phoenix Futures, who are recovering from addiction through nature. Help us protect rare heathland habitat by purchasing this naturally produced wood charcoal with a donation of £5 per bag.
