  • Free parking at Lodge Park (only available when the property is open), Ewe Pen Barn (for Sherborne Park Estate) and Water Meadows (at the end of Sherborne village)
  • There is a small shop at Lodge Park, selling light refreshments and plants (only available when the property is open)
  • Picnic tables are available outside Lodge Park
  • Drinks and light refreshments are on sale daily at the 'Sherborne Village Stores & Tea-room' situated in the heart of Sherborne village (not National Trust run)
  • Estate walks start at Ewe Pen Barn car park and the Water Meadows, donation of £1
  • Dogs under close control welcome across Sherborne Park Estate, but guide dogs only please at Lodge Park
  • WC at Lodge Park (only available when the property is open). Nearest public WCs are located in the town of Northleach, 3 miles off the A40

Family & children

  • At Lodge Park pushchairs have access to the ground floor only as there is no lift to the first floor
  • Tracker Packs for families and children are available at Lodge Park
  • There is a children's quiz/trail at Lodge Park
  • There are orienteering and sculpture trails around the Pleasure Ground at Sherborne Park Estate (start from Ewe Pen Barn)

  • Designated mobility parking and drop-off point, 50 yards from Lodge Park
  • Adapted toilet at Lodge Park (when the property is open)
  • Steps to the entrance of the shop at Lodge Park
  • Braille guide available at Lodge Park
  • Seating - benches are dotted around the Pleasure Grounds at Sherborne Park Estate
  • Grounds - terrain varies across the estate. Pathways are made up of Cotswold stone, earth and grass paths, the latter two can become waterlogged in wet weather. The footpaths through the Pleasure Grounds are well maintained, with wide accessible gates. The water meadows can become flooded in heavy rain and the ground is very uneven. Paths are cut during the summer season only
  • Please note that there is no lift at Lodge Park, so wheelchair users will not be able to access the first floor and roof
