Enjoy the view with a warming brew at the Longshaw Café, where you’ll find sandwiches, snacks, cakes and a refreshing range of hot and cold drinks served every day. Discover the Book Den at nearby Woodcroft car park, a second-hand bookshop that supports the vital conservation work at Longshaw, Burbage and the Eastern Moors.

A brew with a view at Longshaw Café

The café at Longshaw is open daily, serving a range of hot and cold drinks, sandwiches and snacks, cakes, traybakes and Hope Valley scoop ice cream to help you stay refreshed during your visit.

The café has recently undergone a massive renovation project so things might look a little different on your next visit. Please look out for the new signage and make yourself familiar with the new and improved spacious layout. If you’re struggling to find anything, please ask a member of the team – we’re happy to help.

There are toilets at the café, which are open daily. Please note the facilities are closed twice daily for cleaning – please keep your distance and allow staff time to do this.

Allergen information

Most of the food and drink served is prepared on site in our kitchen, using a wide range of ingredients. As a result, we can’t guarantee that any of our food and drink products are completely allergen free.

If you have an allergy or intolerance and would like ingredient information about the food and drink served, please ask the staff, who will be happy to help.

Always check when you visit

Visited before? We sometimes change our recipes to improve quality and flavour, including the ingredients. When you visit, please speak to one of our team to check the current allergen information for your favourite dish.

The Book Den

Located near the Woodcroft car park, you’ll find the cosy Book Den, stacked full of new and second-hand books. Every book you purchase helps us to look after Longshaw for nature and for people.

We welcome book donations, so if you have any books gathering dust, please bring them along to the Book Den.

Thank you

It is through your purchases and support that we are able to continue to care for nature, beauty and history for everyone, for ever.
