Our shop at Longshaw has lots of lovely gifts for you to take home including cosy blankets, a great selection of books and framed prints of local landscapes by Martin Decent. You can also buy Longshaw trail maps, our wide range of Peak District walking maps and wildlife guides.

Christmas tree sales in the Peak District support our conservation work

Our Christmas tree sales run from Sat 29 November until Tue 23 December, open daily from 10am - 4pm.  Choosing a Christmas tree at Longshaw is a family tradition for lots of our visitors, and every tree sale helps towards protecting the beautiful wildlife and landscape of Longshaw.  Both rooted and cut trees are available. 

Longshaw Tea Room

Hearty meals and hot drinks!

Longshaw's tea room is famed for excellent baking including the delicious Longshaw scones. With hot and cold food and drinks available throughout the year, the tea room is open every day except Christmas Eve and Christmas Day. Try the seasonal soup, tasty Derbyshire Oatcakes or sample the latest home-made cakes as you warm up indoors, or sit outdoors to enjoy the view.

First World War

You can buy photographic prints of soldiers who convalesced at Longshaw Lodge during the First World War, as a memorial of this special centenary year.

Free hot drink

Have a hot drink at our cafe

Ask our café staff for a hot drinks' loyalty card and collect stamps at all National Trust cafés when you buy a cup of coffee or tea. Collect nine stamps and get your tenth cuppa on the house.

Hire a GPS unit

We have a beginners' geocache trail available at Longshaw and GPS hire is now available from the shop (security deposit required). Booking is recommended on 01433 637904.
