Members groups: centres and associations

Members of the National Trust can get more from their membership by joining their local association, centre or club.

Associations promote the work of the National Trust and make membership more enjoyable by allowing members to share their interest with like-minded people in their area. Through an organised year-long programme of talks, outings, holidays and social events members make friends, learn more about the National Trust and its properties and support its work.

There are now around 200 such groups in England, Wales and Northern Ireland, as well as in Belgium and Germany. With such extensive coverage, there is bound to be one in your area.

Associations are affiliated to the National Trust and have a common constitution. Independent local groups run by members for members, they have a small subscription charge to cover administration costs.
