AGM 2004

The National Trust's Annual General Meeting (AGM) and Members' Weekend took place in Newcastle upon Tyne on 5 - 7 November.

This was our members' opportunity to gain a unique insight into the wealth of fascinating properties in the North East of England, from the wild countryside of Hadrian's Wall and the drama of the Durham Coast to the elegant delights of some of the region's finest houses, such as Wallington and Cragside.

Council election results

National Trust members voted to appoint eight new members to the Trust's Council and also to endorse the new rules for general meetings which are being introduced as part of the wide-ranging changes the Trust is making to its governance structures.
