Small groups of toys remain in nurseries at several National Trust properties.
Snowshill Manor in Gloucestershire has the largest collection, including many hundreds of working models.
In addition the National Trust has important doll’s houses at Nostell Priory in West Yorkshire and Uppark in West Sussex. Collections of doll’s houses have also been added at Wallington in Northumberland, miniature rooms at Nunnington Hall in North Yorkshire and dolls at Penrhyn Castle in Wales.
The major collection of the Museum of Childhood was made by Derbyshire County Council at Sudbury Hall. The collection is shown by the National Trust on a revolving basis.
