White Down
White Down offers a spectacular panorama of the Trust's North Downs properties. It is a quiet rural area with peaceful walks along ancient tracks.
The North Downs formed part of London's outer defences during the World War II and White Down has many reminders of this military past. The area called the Ranges used to be used as firing ranges and several pill boxes still exist.
