South East Surrey Association is a voluntary association of National Trust members founded in 1981 and currently has approximately 350 members living in the Reigate, Redhill and Horley area.
Our objectives are to promote and support the work of the National Trust and to raise funds for local appeals. We also aim to offer our members the chance to socialise with people of similar interests by organising various activities throughout the year.
Local properties we have supported in the past include Polesden Lacey, Claremont, Clandon Park and Chartwell. We also purchased six Belted Galloway cattle for Colley Hill on the North Downs.
South East Surrey Association is independent of the National Trust and governed by a constitution common to all the charity’s centres and associations. Our affairs are conducted by a committee of officers and members who are elected at our annual general meeting held in November each year.
