With quality local produce, a successful farm shop and regular farmers' markets, the restaurant was always expected to produce a great menu. |
The menus change according to the season and availability of produce and all the meats for the restaurant are from the surrounding farm land and are organic. Free range eggs come from St Martin’s Farm and all the sausages are handmade.

The magnificent walled kitchen garden has espaliered fruit trees trained along high stone walls, as well as a large variety of vegetables and herbs, all of which are used in the restaurant. All the meats for the restaurant are from the surrounding farm land and are organic.

The Kingston Lacy Estate is a strong advocate of quality, locally grown food. The restaurant focuses on local produce with the estate’s own Red Devon beef herd a key part of the landscape and the Trust’s food offer. |
Many of the cheeses used in the restaurant’s recipes come from local suppliers such as Dorset Blue Vinney and Wingreen Camembert. Homemade Barford ice cream comes from tenant farmers on the estate, Chris and Wendy Pope.
