Groups of visitors have enjoyed the delights of Fountains Abbey & Studley Royal since the 18th century. Set in the naturally beautiful Skell Valley the dramatic, atmospheric Abbey ruins are balanced by the breathtakingly beautiful Georgian water garden with its Neo-classical temples, statues and follies. Yorkshire's first World Heritage Site is a truly remarkable place encompassing nearly 900 years of history. Bring your group and be transported to another era where peace and tranquillity reign.
The National Trust works in partnership with English Heritage to care for this site. EH maintains the Abbey (owned by the NT) and owns St Mary's Church (managed by the NT)
