Civil Ceremonies
We have two licensed venues for wedding ceremonies; the impressive Temple of Concord and Victory and the intimate Temple of Venus. The stunning temples along with the professional and friendly service, will ensure you and your guests enjoy a truly memorable occasion.
A marquee wedding breakfast can be held at any of the following sites until 9pm;Temple of Concord and Victory, the Temple of Venus, the Palladian Bridge, and the Lake Pavilions. From any of these beautiful settings in the gardens you and your guests can enjoy spectacular views and a peaceful atmosphere.
The Temple of Concord and Victory
A marquee can be situated next to the impressive Temple of Concord and Victory (also licensed for civil ceremonies) with beautiful views out over the Grecian Valley. This site can accommodate a marquee for up to 150 guests.
The Temple of Venus
A quiet and secluded area of the garden in front of the Temple of Venus (also licensed for civil ceremonies) overlooking the Eleven Acre Lake. This site can accommodate a marquee for up to 300 guests.
Palladian Bridge
Situated in front of the romantic ruin of the Temple of Friendship this site has stunning views of the Palladian Bridge which crosses the Octagon Lake. Also in view from this site is the Gothic Temple, Queens Temple and Cobham’s Monument. This site can accommodate a marquee for up to 300 guests.
The Lake Pavilions
Last but certainly not least is a site in between the Lake Pavilions with arguably the most spectacular views in the gardens, on one side the view across the Octagon Lake up to the stunning Stowe House and on the other views out across the Parkland to the striking Corinthian Arch. This site can accommodate a marquee for 500+ guests.

Drinks Reception

Drinks reception held at the same temple as the ceremony or at the same site as the reception is included in the facility fee for the ceremony or reception. Prices do not include food and drink. Prices are inclusive of VAT

When can weddings be held at Stowe Landscape Gardens?
Stowe Landscape Gardens is available to be hired for a limited number of weddings each year, these can be held on any day of the week, year round.
