Badger Badger pawprint & droppings COLOUR: Blue-black-brown
SMELL: Strong, musky, oily and foul. Whiff of hay
APPEARANCE: Often have seeds and large bits inside. May be found in a toilet pit ('latrine'). Purple if badger has been eating blackberries.
Rabbit Rabbit pawprint & droppings COLOUR: Yellowish brown-green
SMELL: Sweet - like mown hay or a soggy digestive biscuit.
APPEARANCE: Pellets often found in large groups
Hedgehog Hedgehog pawprint & droppings COLOUR: Blue-black
SMELL: Sweet , hint of linseed oil
APPEARANCE: Crinkly, often with hard shiny leftover bits of insects showing.
Fox Fox  pawprint & droppings COLOUR: Dark brown-green
SMELL: Extremely nasty - like rotten meat
APPEARANCE: What's left of fox's dinner sticking out - like fur and feathers
Roe Deer Roe Deer pawprint & droppings COLOUR: Brown - no particular variations
SMELL: No obvious smell
