Supported by the Barclays Bank Rural Regeneration Fund, this project is a key part of the delivery of the National Trust’s Agriculture Policy.
This three-year project (2006 to 2009) is aimed at the Trust’s 2,000 tenant farmers, new entrants to farming and the Trust’s pioneering farm advisory network. It is designed to deliver integrated skills development and vocational training across the organisation. One important element of the project has focused on helping new entrants to farming.
