Mazes
|
|
Here's a selection of mazes at some of our places:
- Glendurgan Garden, Cornwall has a one metre high laurel maze and a fantastic ‘Giant’s Stride’ maypole
- Charlecote Park, Warwickshire, has a maze with carved wooden deer
- East Riddlesden Hall, Yorkshire, has a grass maze
- Greys Court, Oxfordshire, has an Archbishop’s maze, opened in 1981, where children can find their way to the middle without fear of getting lost
- Kedleston Hall, Derbyshire, has a recently planted beech maze
- Peckover House, Cambridgeshire, has a cobbled maze - which is a copy of an earlier hedge maze - and a croquet lawn where you can play croquet
