• Glendurgan Garden, Cornwall has a one metre high laurel maze and a fantastic ‘Giant’s Stride’ maypole
• Charlecote Park, Warwickshire, has a maze with carved wooden deer
• East Riddlesden Hall, Yorkshire, has a grass maze
• Greys Court, Oxfordshire, has an Archbishop’s maze, opened in 1981, where children can find their way to the middle without fear of getting lost
• Kedleston Hall, Derbyshire, has a recently planted beech maze
• Peckover House, Cambridgeshire, has a cobbled maze - which is a copy of an earlier hedge maze - and a croquet lawn where you can play croquet
