Developing opportunities to learn about food, farming and growing.

The National Trust is committed to developing opportunities for people of all ages to learn more about food, farming and growing and how our food is produced.

We aim to raise awareness of farming and growing as local issues which affect everyone through:

• visits to farms and kitchen gardens
• activities, displays and leaflets
• ‘From Plot to Plate’ project
• working in partnership with other organisations

We are particularly pleased to support the Year of Food and Farming Learning from September 2007 – July 2008. As part of our activities we are running a Schools Challenge.
