You sent me some great pictures of castles for last year's Trust Tracks castle competition. I'm sorry it's taken me a while to get them up on my web site, but with the weird weather we've been having I've been trying to decide whether or not to hibernate!
I hope you enjoy reading them as much as I do. What about sending in some of your own photographs of your days out? – or anything else you would like to see on my site.
From Hannah, age 10 1/2, South Cerney, Gloucestershire
I love Dunster Castle, especially the walks in the garden and grounds. Over the old stone bridge and down to the water mill. It is a great place to visit for kids. To make it even better would be a day when you can dress up as soldiers and run around the garden.

I love Chirk Castle because it was my first time at a National Trust building in Wales. It was at Easter and there was an egg hunt in the garden. The garden is BEAUTIFUL!. It's HUGE and excellent. The castle has a lot of interesting history behind it. I prefer all the little nooks and crannies, perfect for hiding and scaring your dad, hee, hee, hee!

Sizergh Castle
I really liked the sunken garden and I enjoyed the trail round the house. Also I really like the turrets on the house.

Chirk Castle
I liked the playground, the dog grave and the chapel. I think my friends would like the medieval clothes.

Castle Drogo is my favourite castle. It has lovely gardens and it is special. I went with my Granny & Grandad.

I like Bodiam Castle because it has a nice moat and nice towers. I would like to be a princess here.
